A: Yes. The Apple HBCU Scholars Program is open to both public and private HBCUs. Students attending a four-year accredited HBCU are eligible for participation.

A: No. The Apple HBCU Scholars Program is open to currently enrolled students, and the scholarship is for the academic year immediately following the internship.

A: No. This opportunity not open to freshmen. However, if you are interested in opportunities at Apple, please visit Apple at www.apple.com/jobs  to review current opportunities.

A: Yes. However, Apple HBCU Scholars are expected to serve as Apple Ambassadors on their HBCU campuses during the academic year following their internship. This is a non-negotiable deliverable that all Scholars must agree to fulfill.

A: Yes. Our goal is to increase talent in STEM fields, so we will select a large number of students pursuing a degree in these areas of study. However, we recognize the incredible opportunity to hire talent that exists in other disciplines who have the desire to pursue a career in the technology industry, therefore, certain other majors will be considered. 1st year law students, finance/accounting majors, public relations majors, and students who are passionate about pursuing careers in Entertainment and Media are strongly encouraged to apply.

A: Yes, international students who meet all the other eligibility requirements and are authorized to work in the United States are eligible to apply.

A: No. While there is no GPA requirement, please be mindful that this is a competitive application process. Students must be able to demonstrate a high intellectual curiosity and a passion for opportunities within Tech. All applicants must be in good academic standing with their institution.

A: Yes. You are eligible to apply to participate in the program if you will be on your campus during the 2019-20 academic year and able to serve as an Apple Ambassador on your HBCU campus.

A: Yes, the summer internship is paid. The amount will be shared with the students selected when offers are made.

A: Yes, housing is provided and the cost is covered for students selected to participate in this program.

 

A: Yes, round trip airfare is provided for all program events including travel to and from your summer internship.
